Rebellion Book 2: Uprising

Well, the final draft is complete. It has been reviewed (thanks, Mike), edited and it’s now in the hands of the publishers. Hoping it will see the light of day (as an ebook) in the next month or so – with the paperback following a week or two later (sorry, Keith).

I’ve settled on Uprising as the title; succinct and very much to the point. As far as story line goes, we’re picking up where we left off. The feud with Gundulf is still a thing but slowly – but surely – makes way for the greater threat that is King William’s Normans flexing their muscles north of the Humber.

William is about to find out they do things differently up north!

Audiobook

Exciting news: I’m taking my first foray into the world of audiobooks. Working with the very talented Gavin Orland (of Orland Media), Blood Feud has now been narrated, checked and signed off. It also has some banging music that would not be out of place as the theme tune of a TV serialisation… (one can dream). It should be on sale by the end of Feb ’25. If all goes well, we’ll be following up with Uprising for the summer.

The Audiobook is a hugely growing market as people have less time to sit down to read and, instead, stick their headphones on and listen while driving, hoovering, walking the dog etc. Hoping my titles will take off in that medium.
