Exciting news from Bernardi Towers

Welcome, dear subscribers, to this my first stab at compiling a newsletter. With luck, I’ll keep up a monthly cadence (at least), but let’s see how it goes. Remember, feedback is welcome, whether to tell me this is a stinking pile of horse poo, or to ask questions or request blogs on certain subjects.

Shut up and tell us this exciting news…

Fair point. Right, well, I actually have three things to impart (you lucky, lucky people).

1. I have all but completed the draft of my new book. It is a new, multi-part series, set in the reign of King Aethelstan (925-39). Think season 5 of the Last Kingdom (and the subsequent film: Seven Kings Must Die), but in more depth and detail.
   Hugely excited to be starting a new series – with luck this will be longer than a trilogy as well.
2. Linked to no.1, now that I have taken redundancy (after 34 years’ service), I am devoting most of my time to writing. This has long been a goal for me and I’m very fortunate to have achieved it. It’s also great news for you as I hope to commit to delivering two books per year going forwards. Your cup runneth over, does it not?
3. The final one, I am not at liberty to divulge in any detail as yet. Suffice to say that if you add 1 & 2 together, you’re still some way short of just how bloomin’ brilliant this is.

That’ll do for now, I’ll aim to keep these short and sweet so you don’t get (too) bored.
